Why does a super-powered Genie always have a human master to command it? Is it for the same reason that a few lesser mortals hold the leash over the rest?

Or maybe the Genie, being immortal, is all the more aware of the futility of existence and the whims and tribulations of a hormone-charged carpet-flying Arab is the only way it can keep itself entertained :D

it is more like depicting our inner self suchiee... look at it this way...the super power, the power to do anything is within our own self....and it is under our control... it is only we who dont recognize it.....
rubbing the lamp is same as rubbing the mind, athavathu removing the apprehensions in the mind about ourselves.....the all powerful self belief comes out :D
